Raw, intimate, musical, insightful, dynamic . . . on Friday March 3, the Library is continuing its popular First Friday series with a Poetry Slam. Fourteen poets, chosen from high schools around Marin, will use their writing and performance skills to engage and enliven the audience as they compete for the title of Champion. A panel of professional writers and poets will judge these brave souls and a veteran Slam Poet, Kat Sanford, has graciously agreed to be our emcee for the evening. This is poetry as you’ve never seen–or heard–it before!
Registration is strongly recommended. Register here or call 415-389-4292 X 203.
