Adult Summer Reading Challenge!

Join the Mill Valley Public Library’s 2nd annual reading challenge! Passport to the World challenges you to read books set in or about as many different countries as possible.

When you register we’ll give you a library-issued passport to keep track of your literary excursions, and you’ll come in to the library for passport stamps each time you finish a book. Every stamp is good for one raffle ticket, where you can win fantastic prizes including tea for 2 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, an annual pass to the U.S. National Parks, or dinner for 2 on the Napa Valley Wine Train!

There’s no set reading list, so you decide what to read. The challenge runs from May 1st to September 1st, and we’re offering wonderful complementary programming including:

  • the Friends’ Monday Night at the Movies – featuring movies set in foreign locations
  • our Conversational Language Groups – for Italian and Spanish
  • our Travel and Cultural Lecture series
