Fact #84: In August 1973, the Library celebrated the arrival of its brand new mimeograph machine with a Monday morning champagne toast. A photographer from the Mill Valley Record was on hand to record the special event. Librarian Thelma Percy said the new machine would be used to print some Library forms and newsletters.
Fact #85: In 1986 the Public Library Foundation Board donated $3,000 to the Mill Valley Public Library for the purchase of some compact-disc players and a core collection of compact discs.
