JOB TITLE: Teen Services Intern
JOB DESCRIPTION: Jump into teen services by interning at one of Marin County’s most spectacular libraries. Working with the Young Adult Librarian, you will directly assist with a broad spectrum of teen services including program development, marketing and promotion, reader’s advisory and collection development. You will gain valuable experience developing and executing programs, creating and distributing marketing materials as well as hands-on experience with collection development. Additionally, interested applicants will have the opportunity to create content for the young adult portion of the website. Previous interns who have performed well have often had additional opportunities at the Library.

QUALIFICATIONS: Creative, outgoing personality with an interest in teens and young adult literature. Applicants should be self-starting, hardworking individuals with a desire to make the library a fun and informative place for teens. Completion of classes in Teen Services/Materials and a willingness to read on your own time are extremely helpful.
